Thank you for using Argonaut Bey Logger (“the App”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
This Privacy Policy explains what information the App handles, how it is used, and
the choices you have. We built this App to be privacy-friendly: it works entirely
on your device and does not send your data to us or to any third party.
By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Summary
- The App connects to a Beyblade Battlepass launcher over Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to read your launch statistics (such as launch speed and launch count).
- All data — your nickname, launch history, and best records — is stored only on your device.
- We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share your personal data. There is no account, no server, and no analytics.
- Data leaves your device only when you explicitly choose to share an image of your stats using your device’s own share feature.
2. Information We Handle
The App handles a small amount of information, all of which stays on your device:

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, precise location,
contacts, photos, advertising identifiers, or any other personal or sensitive
information.
The App does not contain analytics, advertising, crash-reporting, or other
third-party tracking software.
3. How We Use Information
The information above is used solely to provide the App’s core features on your
device, including:
- Displaying your most recent launch and your launch history.
- Calculating and showing your best records.
- Personalizing the dashboard and shared images with your chosen nickname.
- Restoring your latest data instantly when you reopen the App.
We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond
operating the features you see in the App.
4. Bluetooth and Device Permissions
To read data from your Beyblade Battlepass launcher, the App requests the
following permissions:
- Bluetooth (Scan / Connect): used only to find and connect to your Beyblade
Battlepass device and read its launch data. The Bluetooth scan is declared with
the “never for location” flag, meaning we do not use Bluetooth to derive
your location. - Location (Android 11 and older only): older versions of Android technically
required location permission to perform any Bluetooth LE scan. The App uses this
only to enable Bluetooth scanning on those older devices and does not
collect, store, or share your location. - Internet: included as a standard part of the underlying app framework. The
App does not use it to upload or transmit your personal data.
You can review or revoke these permissions at any time in your device’s system
settings.
5. Data Storage and Retention
All data created or read by the App is stored locally on your device using the
app’s private storage. It remains on your device until:
- you clear the App’s data or cache in your device settings, or
- you uninstall the App.
Because the data is stored only on your device, we have no access to it and cannot
retrieve, restore, or delete it on your behalf.
6. Sharing of Information
We do not automatically share your information with anyone.
The App includes an optional “share” feature that renders an image of your
stats. When you tap share, your device’s standard share sheet opens so you can
choose where to send that image (for example, a messaging app or your photo
gallery). This action is entirely under your control, and any onward handling of
the shared image is governed by the app or service you choose to share it with.
The App also includes a “support the developer” screen that displays a static
payment QR (QRIS) image. Scanning it uses your own separate payment app; the App
does not process, receive, or store any payment information.
7. Third-Party Services
The App does not integrate third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking
services. It is distributed through Google Play, and your download and
installation are subject to Google’s own privacy practices. Please refer to

8. Children’s Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including
children. It has no accounts, no sign-in, and no data transmission to us. Any
nickname or statistics entered or generated are stored only on the device. If you
are a parent or guardian and have questions about your child’s use of the App,
please contact us using the details below.
9. Security
Because your data never leaves your device (except through a share action you
initiate), it benefits from your device’s own security protections. We recommend
keeping your device’s operating system up to date and using a screen lock to help
keep your information safe.
10. Your Choices and Rights
- Access your data: all of your data is visible within the App itself.
- Delete your data: clear the App’s storage/cache in your device settings, or
uninstall the App, to remove all locally stored data. - Manage permissions: grant or revoke Bluetooth and other permissions at any
time through your device’s system settings.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise
the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Significant changes may also be
noted in the App or on its store listing. Your continued use of the App after an
update means you accept the revised policy.
